“Walk & Roll is a fundraising event to benefit the American Cancer Society. Beginning in Chicago 39 years ago, Walk & Roll has added seven locations throughout Illinois to bring thousands together in the fight against cancer. The American Cancer Society is the largest voluntary health organization in the world. Your participation will help us reach our goal of eliminating cancer as a major health problem through research, education, advocacy and service.”

Sunday, May 16th, I will be walking/running in the Walk & Roll Chicago to help raise funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society. It’s a 5 mile walk, starting in Grant Park, and continuing on Chicago’s lake front. I’m going to try and run 3 of the 5 miles to continue training for the Warrior Dash in June.
